The following steps can be used to either create your initial home location in AcuRite NOW™, or to add additional Homes in AcuRite NOW™. Creating Homes for your Connection Devices and Sensors allows AcuRite NOW™ to provide you with a detailed 5 day forecast for the location set when a Home is set up. If you have multiple stations in various locations you will want to create a specific Home for the Connection Device(s) and Sensor(s) in order to receive an accurate 5 day forecast.
- Open AcuRite NOW™ so you see the All Devices Screen.
- Tap on the ME icon in the lower right hand corner of the screen.
- Tap on the Home Management option on the Me Screen
- Tap on Create a home.
- Tap on the box to the right of the text Home Name.
- Type in the name for the home, then tap on the box to the right of the text Location.

For Apple Devices tap in the search bar at the top of the screen.
For Android Devices you will need to manually navigate to the correct address on the map at this time.

For Apple Devices Type in the address and select the address from the drop down menu.
- Tap on the Confirm option.
- You will be taken back to the Create a home page. The address chosen for the location will now show in the box to the right of the Location Text.
- You may select or deselect the default rooms in the room list to your location by tapping on the blue icon with the “checkmark” in it.
NOTE: At least one room must be selected. The room name does not have to correspond with where the connection device or sensor are located.
- You may add a new room by tapping Add Room.
- Tap the box that says Room Name.
- Type in the new room name then tap Confirm in the upper right corner of the screen.
- The new room will now appear at the bottom of the room list and is currently selected.
- Tap the Save option in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
- Tap the Done option.
- You will now see the All Devices screen for the Home.
- To navigate between Home locations tap the Home Icon in the upper left corner of the screen.
- Tap on the Home you want to view.
You can now add devices to your Home! Devices already connected to AcuRite NOW before creating a default Home will automatically default to the first Home created. If you have created an additional Home and want some of the devices set to that Home, you will need to remove the devices from AcuRite NOW™. Once you have done that, please follow the steps in the Support Article below to add devices to an additional Home:
