To monitor and view your AcuRite sensor readings from AcuRite NOW™, an AcuRite Access (Connection Device) must be added to your account. Once added, you can then link your AcuRite sensor(s) to the Legacy AcuRite Access - allowing the readings to be sent to your Connection Device Home screen in the AcuRite NOW™ app.
Before doing the steps below please make sure you have your AcuRite Access powered on and plugged into your router for 10 minutes. We do see it may take this full time for the AcuRite Access to see any compatible sensors within 330 feet.
AcuRiteNOW™ app: How to add a Legacy AcuRite Connection Device
- Open your AcuRite NOW™ app on your smartphone or tablet. If you are logged into the App you should see the Home screen that will show any connected devices.
- Next, in the upper right corner of the screen TAP on the "+" Icon
- Next, TAP on the Add Device option.
- Next, on the Add Device screen TAP the Add MyAcuRite Legacy Devices option.
- Next, on the Device Profile screen, enter the last 6 digits of the 12 Digit Device ID located on the bottom of the AcuRite Access.
- Next, after entering the last 6 digits of the 12 digit Device ID, TAP the Continue button.
- You will now see the sensor screen in AcuRite NOW™.
NOTE: It may take at least 10 minutes for the AcuRite Access to show an available sensor. We do see it may only show one sensor at a time in the list of available sensors.
