Adding A Sensor To The Legacy AcuRite Access® Connection Device

You must link a sensor to an AcuRite Access®(Connection Device) in order to monitor and view its sensor readings from your AcuRite NOW™ account. Once linked, its readings are sent to your AcuRite NOW™ Dashboard.

Before doing the steps below, please make sure you have connected your Legacy AcuRite Access Device to your AcuRite NOW™ account by following the steps in the Add A Legacy AcuRite Access As A Connection Device To AcuRite NOW™ Article

  1. First open your AcuRite NOW™ App to view the All Devices Screen.


     
  2. Next, TAP on the AcuRIte Access® Gateway in your All Devices List


     
  3. Next, TAP on the ME Icon in the lower right hand corner of the Home Screen.


     
  4. Next, scroll down to the bottom of the ME screen until you see the Available Sensors section.

     
  5. Check the Available Sensors Section on the ME screen for available compatible sensors nearby. If you do not see any sensors we recommend waiting at least 5 minutes and refreshing the list. We do see it may take an hour or longer for the sensors to appear. Relocating the sensors within 3 feet of the Acurite Access® may help.


     
  6. Next, once the sensor you want to add to the AcuRite Access® appears in the Available Sensors section tap on the blue with the "+" icon to the right of the sensor name.


    * If you have multiple sensors in the Available Sensors section please repeat this step as many times as needed to add the individual sensors.
     
  7. Next, once you have added all of the Available Sensors to your AcuRite Access® Connection Device scroll up to the top of the ME screen.


     
  8. Next, once you are at the top of the ME screen you will see all of the newly added sensors there. TAP the Home icon in the lower left area of the screen to go back to your Home screen.


     
  9. You will now see the most recently added sensor(s) at the top of the Home Screen.
