Weather Forecast:
While connected to Wi-Fi, weather forecasts for today and tomorrow are downloaded from weatherbit.io twice a day, at 5 AM and 5 PM.
If the weather station is not connected to Wi-Fi, the forecast is generated using data from your weather station. Self-calibrating forecasting uses a unique algorithm to analyze changes in pressure over a time period (called Learning Mode) to determine your altitude. After 14 days, the self-calibrated pressure is tuned in to your location, and the unit is ready for superior weather prediction.
Wind Speed:
Average Wind Speed- displays the average wind speed reading from the last 60 minutes.
(When in the Wind Speed Flex View: located inside the wind rose on the left. When not in flex view: located on the right of the wind speed in the wind speed box)
Gust Wind Speed- displays a rolling value showing the highest wind speed recorded within the last 60 minutes.
(Only shows in the Wind Speed Flex View on the right)
Wind Direction:
While in Wind Speed Flex View:
Solid green bar on the wind rose- Current Wind Direction
Slightly lighter green bar on wind rose- Previous Wind Directions
The green bars are located where the wind is coming from.
Barometric Pressure:
Subtle variations in barometric pressure greatly affect the weather. This weather center displays the current pressure with an arrow icon to indicate the direction the pressure is trending (FALLING, STEADY, or RISING).
