You are able to rename sensors in the AcuRite NOW™ App to help distinguish between the sensors connected to a device and their locations.
How to Rename Sensors Connected to a Legacy AcuRite Access Connection Device:
- Open the AcuRite NOW™ App to view the All Devices screen. Tap on the AcuRite Access that you want to change the sensor names on.
- On the Home screen for the AcuRite Access, tap on the ME icon in the lower right hand corner of the screen.
- On the Me Screen Tap on the Pencil Icon to the right of Weather Station Name.
- Tap on the current sensor name and delete it from the name box.
- Type in the new name for the sensor and tap on OK.
- You will now see the updated name on the ME page. Tap the Home Icon in the lower left hand corner of the screen.
- Tap the back arrow icon in the upper left hand corner of the screen.
- You will now be back on the All Devices page.
How to Rename Sensors on Legacy AcuRite Direct to Wi-Fi Iris 5 in 1 or Atlas 7 in 1 Connection Device:
- Open the AcuRite NOW™ App to view the All Devices screen. Tap on the Legacy AcuRite Direct to Wi-Fi Connection Device that you want to change the sensor name on.
- On the Home screen for the AcuRite Legacy Direct to Wi-Fi Connection Device, tap on the ME icon in the lower right hand corner of the screen.
- On the Me Screen Tap on the Pencil Icon to the right of Weather Station Name.
- Tap on the current sensor name and delete it from the name box.
- Type in the new name for the sensor and tap on OK.
- You will now see the updated name on the ME page. Tap the Home Icon in the lower left hand corner of the screen.
- Tap the back arrow icon in the upper left hand corner of the screen.
- You will now be back on the All Devices page.
