Add A Legacy AcuRite PC Connect Display As A Connection Device To AcuRite NOW™

To monitor and view your AcuRite sensor readings from AcuRite NOW™, AcuRite PC Connect Display must be added to your account. Once added, you can then link your AcuRite sensor(s) to the Legacy PC Connect Display - allowing the readings to be sent to your Connection Device Home screen in the AcuRite NOW™ app. 

Before doing the steps below please make sure you have your PC Connect Display plugged into a computer that is running the PC Connect Software via a USB cable, confirm the Share Weather Box is checked and the 12 digit Device ID has been entered into the MyAcuRite section on the PC Connect screen.
NOTE: For PC Connect Displays to send data online to AcuRite NOW™ the display must be be plugged into a computer that is online and powered on at all times. These displays require a constant wired internet connection in order to work properly.

AcuRiteNOW™ app: How to add a Legacy AcuRite PC Display Connection Device

 

  1. Open your AcuRite NOW™ app on your smartphone or tablet. If you are logged into the App you should see the Home screen that will show any connected devices.


     
  2. Next, in the upper right corner of the screen TAP on the "+" Icon


     
  3. Next, TAP on the Add Device option.


     
  4. Next, on the Add Device screen TAP the Add MyAcuRite Legacy Devices option.


     
  5. Next, on the Device Profile screen, enter the last 6 digits of the 12 Digit Device ID located on the back of the PC Connect Display.


     
  6. Next, after entering the last 6 digits of the 12 digit Device ID, TAP the Continue button.


     
  7. You should now see the sensor screen in AcuRite NOW™.
    NOTE: It may take at least 10 minutes for the PC Connect Display to show an available sensor. If you do not see a sensor please TAP the refresh icon to the right of the text Available Sensors to refresh the page.
