Add a Sensor to the My AcuRite® Dashboard

Follow

You must link a sensor to an AcuRite Access®, PC Connect Display, or Direct to Wi-Fi Display (Connection Device) in order to monitor and view its sensor readings from your My AcuRite® account. Once linked, its readings are sent to your My AcuRite® Dashboard.

My AcuRite® app: How to add a sensor to the My AcuRite® Dashboard

  1. From the tab / navigation bar, select ic_settings_black_24px.svg (Settings menu).

  2. Select Manage Devices.

  3. Select the name of the Connection Device you want to link the sensor to.

  4. From Available Sensors, select the sensor name.

  5. Set the sensor settings.

Device Name - be sure to enter a name that uniquely identifies the installation location of the sensor. The name is displayed in the Dashboard tab of the Connection Device that it's linked to.
Placement - only applies to sensors that can be either located indoors or outdoors.

Calibrate Reading (optional setting) - when sensor placement or an environmental factor may impact its readings, setting a reading calibration can improve accuracy. When a reading calibration is adjusted, the reading is offset by the set amount. For example, setting the temperature calibration to '-10' results in its readings to be displayed as 10 degrees less than what is actually recorded by the sensor.

  6. Select Save.

The sensor is linked to the Connection Device. The sensor is listed in My Sensors and its readings will be sent to your My AcuRite® Dashboard.
