Manage the Elevation of the Connection Device

Follow

By default, Elevation is determined by the Postal Code set in the profile of the Connection Device. You can customize the elevation to ensure My AcuRite® uses the most accurate elevation for where your AcuRite Access® is located. When setting a custom elevation, My AcuRite® automatically adjusts the barometric pressure.

For example, if you live in a very mountainous location, your Connection Device may be located in an area that has a very different elevation than the elevation set by the Postal Code. Therefore, you may want to customize the elevation to where the device is physically located.

NOTE: PC Connect Display (Iris® (5-in-1) Weather Station) only - the My AcuRite® elevation setting does not apply to PC Connect Display devices. Barometric pressure adjustments, that automatically set the elevation, are set directly in the PC Connect software.
