Replace a Connection Device

Follow

When you replace an AcuRite Access®, PC Connect Display, or Direct to Wi-Fi Display (Connection Device) its linked sensors are transferred to the new device. If you purchase a new Connection Device to replace your existing Connection Device but wish to monitor the same sensor(s), use the replace option.

Before you begin

AcuRite Access - be sure it's powered on and connected to your network (Internet) router. At a minimum, be sure there is one AcuRite sensor in wireless range of the AcuRite Access®.

PC Connect Display - verify the Indoor Display is paired with your Iris® (5-in-1) sensor and connected to your computer, the computer is on and has an Internet connection, and My AcuRite® Sharing is enabled from the PC Connect software.

Open PC Connect 2.0.4 Software to confirm under Status shows the following: pc_connect.png

Direct to Wi-Fi Display - verify the Indoor Display is paired with your Iris® (5-in-1) or Atlas® sensor and connected to your Wi-Fi network.
