LCD Indoor Display and LED Clock Reset

You should perform the reset steps below if you experience the following:

  • Partial Digits or Missing Segments on the Display 
  • Incorrect/Inaccurate Indoor Temperature or Humidity 
  • Backlight does not stay on, flashes, is too dim, or will not dim. 
  • The Ticker on the bottom of the display is showing X's, 8's, or is scrambled
  • Inaccurate 12-24 hour Future Forecast
  • Inaccurate Barometric Pressure Reading  
  • Clock/Time is Fast or Slow 

 

To reset using the RESET button located in the battery compartment of the display or clock:  

(THIS WILL CLEAR ALL OF YOUR HISTORY AND YOUR SETTINGS)

  1. Please verify that you are using recommended batteries as well as the included power adapter, if applicable.
  2. Remove all power, (AC adapter and batteries) from the display unit.
  3. Press and hold down the reset button, located in the battery compartment for 20 seconds.
  4. Restore power by plugging into AC power or installing batteries. If AC powered, leave backup batteries out for now.
  5. Press and hold down the reset button for an additional 20 seconds.
  6. Verify that the unit has powered on and once a connection has been made, attempt to set the time and date. You can then insert recommended backup batteries into the display. 

 

If your display or clock does not include a RESET button located in the battery compartment:

(THIS WILL CLEAR ALL OF YOUR HISTORY AND YOUR SETTINGS)

  1. Please verify that you are using recommended batteries as well as the included power adapter, if applicable.
  2. Remove the batteries and unplug the unit, if applicable, for a full five minutes to let the display power down completely then reinstall the batteries.
