Return Policy
Our business revolves around you. We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase on AcuRite.com, you can return your product(s) to us within 90 days for a refund in the amount of the purchase price (shipping excluded). We ask only that you return merchandise in its original condition and packaging.
Products cannot be returned after 90 days from the date of the invoice or if they are not in the original condition. Please pack your return carefully! We cannot be held responsible for items damaged during return shipping.
Merchandise that fails under normal operating conditions within the product's expressed warranty period will be replaced or repaired at no charge, per our warranty policy.

Refund Policy
Products that qualify for a refund will be refunded the amount of the original purchase price (shipping excluded). Refund processing takes up to 5 business days once any returned merchandise requested has been received by us. Once the refund has been processed, the refund will post to the original payment method used in the purchase transaction. Transportation costs and charges for returned goods shall be paid for by the purchaser. We hereby disclaim all responsibility for such transportation costs and charges.
Cancellation Policy
An order can only be canceled by opening a case with customer support, and if the order has not yet been processed. AcuRite Support is available through email and live chat Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. CT. When an order is canceled before being processed, no amount will be charged to the payment method submitted, and the authorization will be voided. Please review our Return and Refund Policies listed above if we cannot cancel the order before processing.

Claims and Repairs
Submit a warranty claim:

Limited 1 Year Warranty

We warrant to the original purchaser that all products we manufacture under this warranty are of good material and workmanship and, when properly installed and operated, will be free of defects for a period of one year from the date of purchase (the “One Year Warranty”).
Any product which, under normal use and service and after examination by us, fails to meet the One Year Warranty will, at our sole option, be repaired or replaced by us. Although, as explained below, in some cases a refund will be provided. Transportation costs and charges for returned goods shall be paid for by the purchaser. We hereby disclaim all responsibility for such transportation costs and charges. The One Year Warranty does not cover, and we will not repair or replace products which have received normal wear and tear not affecting the functionality of the product, been damaged (including by acts of nature), tampered, abused, improperly installed, or repaired or altered by anyone other than our authorized representatives.
The remedy under the One Year Warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective item(s). If we determine that repair or replacement is not feasible, we may, at our option, refund the amount of the original purchase price.
THE ONE YEAR WARRANTY IS NOT TRANSFERABLE AND IS THE SOLE WARRANTY FOR THE PRODUCTS AND IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OTHER THAN THE EXPRESS WARRANTY SET FORTH HEREIN ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY FOR SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, WHETHER ARISING IN TORT OR BY CONTRACT FROM ANY BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY. Limited 10 Year Warranty

Optimus Limited Lifetime Warranty

We warrant to the original purchaser that the Optimus Weather Station & Display we manufacture under this warranty will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product (the “Original Purchaser Warranty”).
The Original Purchase Warranty does not cover consumable components which include: the rain funnel, rain debris screen, wind cups, wind vane, and temperature-humidity sensor module.
Any product which, under normal use and service and after examination by us, fails to meet the Original Purchaser Warranty will, at our sole option, be repaired or replaced by us. Although, as explained below, in some cases a refund will be provided. Transportation costs and charges for returned goods shall be paid for by the original purchaser. We hereby disclaim all responsibility for such transportation costs and charges. The Original Purchaser Warranty does not cover, and we will not repair or replace products which have received normal wear and tear not affecting the functionality of the product, or that have been damaged (including by acts of nature), tampered, abused, improperly installed, or repaired or altered by anyone other than our authorized representatives.
The remedy under the Original Purchaser Warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective item(s). If we determine that repair or replacement is not feasible, we may, at our option, refund the amount of the original purchase price.

Applicability of Policy
This Return, Refund, and Warranty Policy apply only to purchases made in the United States and Canada. For purchases made in a country other than the United States or Canada, please consult the policies applicable to the country in which you made your purchase.
Additionally, this Policy applies only to the original purchaser of our products. We cannot and do not offer any return, refund, or warranty services if you buy products used or from resale sites such as eBay or Craigslist.
Governing Law
This Return, Refund, and Warranty Policy are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Wisconsin. Any dispute relating to this Policy shall be brought exclusively in the federal or State courts having jurisdiction in Walworth County, Wisconsin; and purchaser consents to jurisdiction within the State of Wisconsin.
