Probe Error Message

If you are getting a "Check Probe" message on the main unit: 

  1. If the diagnostic code says "NO" or "E1" then the probe may not be connected to the main unit.
  2. If the diagnostic code says "SC" or "E2" then the probe may be physically damaged or exposed to extreme heat.  A replacement probe is recommended.
