Alarm Clock Display Reset

If your display is too dark, hard to read, or does not turn on refer to the troubleshooting steps for your particular unit.  The model number will be either on the back or the bottom of the clock. 

 

13020/13020CCDI/13026W: 

  1. Verify the power adapter is plugged in.
  2. Increase brightness using +/– buttons, located on the back of the clock.
  3. The optimum viewing angle for this product is from slightly above it. 

 

 13022/13035W: 

  1. The backlight may automatically turn off for 10 minutes at 2:00 am and 3:00 am to acquire the atomic signal.
  2. Verify the power adapter is plugged in.
  3. Check that the batteries are installed correctly. Batteries may need to be replaced.
  4. Increase brightness using the dimmer control, located on the back of the clock.
  5. The optimum viewing angle for this product is from slightly above it.
  6. Reset the unit by pressing the reset button, located in the battery compartment.

 

13041RM:

  1. Verify the power adapter is plugged in.
  2. Check that the batteries are installed correctly. Batteries may need to be replaced.
  3. Increase brightness using the dimmer control arrows, located on the side of the clock.
  4. The optimum viewing angle for this product is from slightly above it.

 

13019:

  1. There is a reset pinhole on the back of the clock. With the clock plugged in, push a paper clip into this hole to hit the reset button.
  2. If the display turns back on showing “5 y n”, press and release the DST button once on the back and the time should display, allowing you to set it manually.
  3. If the display does not turn on or it still has partial numbers, the unit should be replaced.
