If a section on your multi-sensor display is not receiving a signal from the sensor, or the temperature is flashing, showing dashes, or is not updating, the unit may be experiencing wireless interference. Perform a hard reset to gain a strong connection between the units.
Remove the affected Location from the display.
- Press and release the color-coded button next to the location you want to delete from the display.
- Press and release the “gear" button.
- Press and release the “▲“ or “▼“ buttons until “DELETE” is showing.
- Press and release the “SET” button. “DELETE MONITOR” will flash.
- Press and release the “SET” button to remove the location from the display.
- Remove batteries from the remote sensor/monitor only. Do not power down the digital display.*
- Wait 1 minute.
- Reinstall the batteries in the remote sensor/monitor.
*If you are also using an add-on sensor such as the Water Detector, Liquid & Soil Temperature Sensor, or Spot Check Temperature & Humidity Sensor, please disconnect the add-on sensor from the monitor for one minute. Please reconnect the add-on sensor before reinstalling the batteries in the monitor.
Perform a Hard Reset:
- Bring all the sensors and display unit together and remove batteries from the outdoor sensors. Make sure that the Wireless Reception Indicators on the display drop to zero bars to ensure that your display was connected to the correct sensors. (If your wireless reception indicator already indicates zero bars, please proceed to Step #2.)
NOTE: If your display unit continues to show a strong connection, there is another sensor in your area that your display is connecting to (either a neighbor's or from another of your AcuRite units). If you have multiple sensors, make sure to use a different ABC channel on each. - Remove the batteries and/or power adapter from the display unit.
- Change the A-B-C switch on all sensors to a new channel, then press and hold the reset button for 20 seconds if applicable.
- Reinstall the batteries in the outdoor sensors first.
- Reinstall batteries and/or power cord into the display unit, then immediately press and hold the reset button again for 20 seconds if applicable.
- Let the units sit within a couple of feet of each other for approximately 5 minutes or until you see a solid sensor signal.

Important!
If you are pairing more than one temperature sensor with the display, the A-B-C switch positions must differ between each sensor. Verify that each sensor has a different channel selected by checking the switch position in the battery compartment.
The 12-24 hour future forecast feature requires a weather-resistant Monitor or Sensor (sold separately) to be placed outdoors and its location name must be set to OUTDOOR or GARDEN.
