What are the Accuracy Standards?

When assessing the accuracy of your AcuRite product, use the following standards.

NOTE: Accuracy standards are per unit.

 

AcuRite Iris™ (5-in-1), Notos™ (3-in-1), Tower Sensors, and Humidity Monitors:

Models: 06004, 06014, 06008, 00592TXR/06002M, 00606TX/06009RMA1, 00609TXRA1, and non-Pro Accuracy Humidity Monitors. 

  1. Temperature: +/- 2 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Humidity: 
    1. +/- 5% from 0% to 10% Relative Humidity.
    2. +/- 4% from 10% to 20% Relative Humidity. 
    3. +/- 3% from 20% to 80% Relative Humidity. 
    4. +/- 4% from 80% to 90% Relative Humidity.
    5. +/- 5% from 90% to 100% Relative Humidity.
  3. Rain: +/- 0.05" per inch of rainfall.
  4. Wind Speed:
    1. +/-2 mph below 10 mph. 
    2. +/- 3 mph from 10 to 30 mph.
    3. +/- 4 mph from 30 to 50 mph.
    4. +/- 5 mph from 50 to 99 mph.
  5. Barometric Pressure: +/- .15 inhg. 

 

AcuRite Atlas® Sensor: 

Model #06059

  1. Temperature: +/- 1 degree Fahrenheit.
  2. Humidity: +/- 2% Relative Humidity.
  3. Rain: +/- 5%.
  4. Wind Speed: +/- 1 mph < 10 mph, +/- 10% > 10 mph.
  5. Wind Direction: +/- 3 degrees.
  6. UV Accuracy: +/- 1.
  7. Barometric Pressure: +/- .15 inhg.

 

Pro Accuracy Units:

Models: 01080M, 01083M, and 01139M.

  1. Temperature: +/- 0.5 degrees Fahrenheit. 
  2. Humidity: +/- 2% Relative Humidity.
