Inaccurate Barometric Pressure on My AcuRite

If your barometric pressure in inaccurate on the dashboard:

It is important to note that you can set your barometric pressure on My AcuRite to show either the adjusted pressure or the station pressure. 

  1. Adjusted pressure is the raw barometric pressure reading that has been adjusted to your elevation. 
  2. Station Pressure is the raw barometric pressure. 

If the pressure reading is incorrect:

  1. Check your elevation that is in My Acurite.
    1. Click on "Settings" in the upper right hand corner.
    2. Select "Devices".
    3. From here you can see the address that has been input. 
    4. The elevation is pulled from the address that was entered.  If the address is correct, but the elevation shown below is not correct, you will want to edit the elevation. 
    5. Click on the blue "Edit" button to the right of the "Replace" button. 
    6. From this page you can manually enter your elevation. 
    7. Click the green "Save" button in the upper right hand corner to save the changes. Note: It can take up to 30 minutes to see the change take affect. 

You can also calibrate the barometric pressure:

  1. Click on "Settings" in the upper right hand corner. 
  2. Select "Devices". 
  3. Click on the blue "Edit" button to the right of the "Replace" button.
  4. From here you want to scroll to the bottom of the edit page until you get to "Barometric Pressure Settings".
  5. If in Adjusted Pressure, change it to Station Pressure. If already on Station Pressure then skip to step 11.
  6. Click the green "Save" button in the upper right hand corner.
  7. Wait up to 30 minutes for the change to take affect. 
  8. Click "Settings" in the upper right hand corner. 
  9. Select "Devices".
  10. From here you want to scroll to the bottom of the edit page until you get to "Barometric Pressure Settings".
  11. You will see an option to apply adjustments. 
  12. Enter the adjustment needed. 
  13. Click on the green "Save" button in the upper right hand corner. 
  14. Allow 30 minutes for the change to take affect.
