Sorry not to be any help other than to say "Me Too." I seem to be having the same problem. When  the (just received today) hub is fully connected (router and AC), both hub lights come on. The Sensor Status light stays lit and the Network Status Light blinks off every 15 seconds.
Therefore I too, need help/clarification as to what to do next.
All attempts to register the product have failed with the Server 500 Error and the hub was given a unique name.

Thanks for the reply. I even tried another Ethernet cable and disconnected the power and still the same problem. I hadn't even attempted to register it. Did you push the button on the bottom??

It seems we've tried the same things without success. Like you, I changed the Ethernet cable, connected and disconnected the power supply several times. I also tried pressing the bottom button for 4 seconds several times with zero success.
As this is a replacement unit for my previous unit which was "blown out of the water" with their major server update a few months ago, I'm not sure what to do from here as I now seem to have two malfunctioning smart hubs/internet bridges.
Hopefully AcuRite support will jump in with some help...

Hello all,

Do you have the smartHUB connected directly into your router or are you using a switch of any kind?  The smartHUB needs to be directly connected to the router.  What is the model number of your smartHUB? Please power cycle your smartHUB and router.  To do this, you will unplug your Ethernet cable from the router then the adapter for the HUB.  After this you can unplug your router.  Please leave them unplugged for about 5 minutes.  When you plug them back in plug the router in first and let it completely boot up, then you can plug the Ethernet cable into the router after that the adapter.  Try to add your device to My AcuRite by clicking the plus tab at the top of the page.  Please let us know if you continue to have issues.  Thank you and have a great day!

Hi Rachell:
You stated, "To do this, you will unplug your Ethernet cable from the router then the adapter for the HUB."
What does that mean? What is the "adapter for the Hub"?
You then suggested, "After this you can unplug your router." By this do you mean to unplug the Ethernet cable going from my router to my modem?
My own Hub, received yesterday directly from AcuRite is 09150M.

Thanks for any  help,

Dale

Hello Dale,

The smartHUB has a power adapter that is plugged into the wall. When we refer to adapter we mean to unplug the power from the smartHUB. The Ethernet cord is plugged in the back of the smartHUB it looks like a phone jack, and then the other piece is plugged directly into your router. You would want to unplug the part that is in your router. We hope this clears up any confusion. Thank you. Enjoy your day!

I received my system yesterday and it came right up and is visible on the web site. We have added alerts and they too work fine. However the Network Status light still blinks slowly after 24 hours. I pressed the reset for 4 seconds after 12 hours to see if that would impact it but it did not. Is this normal operation? Should I try something else?
Thanks

Hello Jon,

We can see you are currently updating on my AcuRite.  The network status light will flash when the smartHUB receives a reading from the sensor.  This may look like a flash or a flicker.  Please let us know If you have any other questions. Thank you.
