I would like a 5 in 1 type weather station that can connect to Wunderground but it needs to be cost effective. Can you recommend specific weather stations that you sell that can connect to WG and also measure rainfall, temp, wind, humidity. Thanks!

Joel I don't know about you but I hate when someone picks something out for me your best option is to go to acurite.com and look and see, they have weekly deals and a 16% discount code right  now but here are some options.
https://www.acurite.com/pro-5-in-1-weather-station-with-pc-connect-bonus-display.html this is a PC connect unit it will let you share with WG but it requires it be connected to a PC 24/7 in order to work. https://www.acurite.com/weather-environment-system-with-pro-5-in-1-sensor-display-981wes.html
This unit has the smarthub with this no computer needed. there are many other options that you should look at. Happy Holidays, good luck.

I started out with an Acurite bundle from Costco for $89. It included the 5-in-1 sensor and a PC-connect display. I got the deal in the store, not online.

The problem I had with the pc connect was that every time I turned off my computer the unit would stop reporting because in connected to my computer via USB..

The better solution is to get a bundle with a smarthub. The smarthub connects to your router instead of your computer. So as long as the router is on it'll keep reporting. The smarthub is also expandable. It can connect up to 10 sensors. The units with pc connect only read the 5-in-1 sensor.

The cheapest I see now is on Amazon for $114. Includes 5-in-1 sensor and a display with pc connect.

The cheapest smarthub deal I see is on the Acurite sit for $149 but does not include a display. So you would have to use the app or your computer to see your weather.

Keep in mind that the Acurite system is pretty much plug and play. You can add a display and/or sensors later.

I have two displays myself. My original one that came with my bundle, which is now in the bedroom. Then I recently bought an HD display with a lightning sensor which is here in my office.

Also you can buy the parts individually. You can buy the 5-in-1 sensor. Then buy whatever display you want with pc connect if you want or just buy a smarthub individually. Then add extra sensors and/or displays later.

Hello Joel,

Any of our 5n1 weather stations with the smartHUB will allow you to transmit on Weather Underground and provide you with rainfall, wind, temp and humidity. We have attached a link below to some of our products. Thank you. Enjoy your day!
