Weatherunderground connection not working

So I finally got my Smart Hub registered with WU two days ago and have input my station ID and password on MyAurite but when I look it up on Weatherground it shows the station as not reporting. Any suggestions to get things moving would be appreciated.

Try this , sign onto WU go to your weather page , then click were it says " My Profile " , then click were it says " My Weather Stations " .  Now when you get there you should see a spot that says " Station Key: " . Do not copy and paste but use you Key instead of your password and wait a couple of minutes and see if that helps . Also make sure your station ID is typed in and not cut and pasted and is all caps . Also make sure sharing is on in your My AcuRite account . Hope that helps .

Are you "Sharing" your weather data?  On MyAcurite for to Setting>Share Weather and see if your station is listed there.

Then its on WU end . Like I said they have had tons of problems over the last month or so . Options you can do , wait and see if it fixes itself or if you want use another E-Mail and resign up for another station . You will have to change your WU info on My Acurite after signing up for a new station .

You read my mind regarding setting up new account with different email address. I think I tried setting up a new account before but with the same email address and it was rejected. That’s how I know they have the correct email address.

Double check your E-Mail address with WU also WU has been having some problems lately

Check your Spam folder too.  If I recall, that's where mine originally went.

I had the same problem using the station ID as the password. When I changed to using my WU password it worked.

I'm having the same issue with connecting to weather underground. I went to "My Profile" and then "My Weather Station". My ID and password are entered and are correct. Does it really take a day before it starts reporting? My brother said his was up in 10 minutes. Am I being too impatient? ☺

Terrie, did You receive a validation email from WU? If not, have you requested it sent again or checked your spam/junk mail for the email? In my case, the first attempt at setting up my WU account failed to send a validation email and attempts to resend also failed. I ultimately had to set up a new WU account, using a different email address. On that attempt I did receive the validation email. If you try this and it works, you will get a new station ID and password which you will have to change to in your MyAccurite account. After going through this process, my PWS connected to WU within a couple of hours. If you try this, I hope it works for you like it did for me. Good luck!

I did receive a validation e-mail and clicked on it.  I do also have a gmail account and I may try that.  Can I not just delete my PWS from WU and then enter it again?

Thank you.  Yes, it finally started reporting.  I had sent a message to WU and after a day or two it just started working.  Thank you again!
