Weather Station 5 in 1 problems

on the display on the right upper corner, it shows the messages, which cycle through the different things like highest temp, highest wind, etc.  If it rains, the message center changes to todays rainfall and will not revert back to the cycling messages.  My fix for this is to unplug the display and plug it back in, this resets the message portion and it goes back to cycling thru the different recordings.....until it rains again and then you have to unplug again.  Something is wrong in the programming for sure.  Another thing is in the cycling messages, one says "warmest day this weeK", however, it does not show the day or date, just warmest day this week.  Another error in the programming of these units is the "24 hour temperature change"  it always shows "0", not the actual temp change.  By the way, unplugging the display and then plugging it back in does not lose any of the recorded data.  I suppose if you fiddled around for 5 minutes, it probably would???  but, I just do it within about 5 seconds.

Hello Robert,

The display will  show rain total and “24 Hour Rain Total”, thenon day two it will show rain total and “48 Hour rain total” - after 48 hours itwill return to normal cycle for “ticker” info. You can press the up or down arrow buttons at any time to go through the ticker messages. If you unplug the display it's going to lose the information for warmest day of the week, as well as the 24 hour temperature change.  Please try keeping it plugged in to see if this information displays. Thank you.

first of all thanks for the reply.  Second, there should be something in the instructions or troubleshooting that tells us that once the RAIN TODAY replaces the scrolling messages, we leave it for 48 hours and it resets itself.  There is nothing that says that anywhere I have searched.  When you unplug the unit and plug it right back in, it resets the scrolling window, and does not lose the highest temp, wind, etc nor does it lose the lowest temp, humidity, etc.  that may be why it keeps not saying anything for warmest and coldest day this week, 24 hour temp change, etc.  I will test this out, because it was last night when i unplugged it and it is not supposed to rain again for 5 or 6 days or more.  however, right now, it is 58 deg outside and was 31 degrees last night, the 24 hour temp change on the unit says 15 degrees.  It should be 27 right now.

Hello Robert,

Thank you for the information. We will look at updating the manual. We would recommend resetting the display to factory settings, and keep an eye on the temp changes and the scrolling window displaying. You can do this by unplugging the display for about 2 minutes.  Let us know if there is anything further we can assist you with.

Hello Ron,
What is the model of your weather station? Can you provide us with a picture of what you are seeing? Thank you.
