Update from one server location then connect via another?

I have to install the bridge/sensors at my MIL's and it says it can take a half hour to do the firmware update. Can I run the updates from my house, then take it over there to do the rest of the install? (It's not that I don't want to see them, lol, just have plans!) How long, after the firmware update (over dsl, fyi) does the install take?

Hi Barbara,

You may definitely run the update from your home first; should another update become available between that time and when you install the system, it should not take long at all.  Typically, installation can be done in 30 minutes or less.

Have a great day!

Install was a snap. The web site could provide a "start here" tab; I was able to navigate but a guided tour would have made it even easier.
