The tech support phone number is a FRAUD. I called a few days in a row and was usually number 27-30 in line on hold. Occasionally I would move up in line to number 25 but I now realize that was only because people ahead of me in line were hanging up. Today I called as soon as they were open and was overjoyed to hear that I was NUMBER ONE in line. That joy turned to anger after sitting on hold for an HOUR AND A HALF until I couldn't take it anymore. The whole time I was told I was number one in line which tells me that there is no one to answer the phone there. That means they intentionally let people call everyday to waste their time on hold. This company is complete shit and I'll be spreading this message as far and wide as I can.

I have tried every troubleshooting suggestion I can't find but can't get the outdoor sensor and indoor display to connect

I just called 1-262-729-4850 and was only on hold for about 5 minutes. We tried a few things, but I bought my unit so long ago (2013) and am now just setting it up that the update could not be applied to my hub and I had to order a new one. $47 with shipping, but it's my fault for letting the unit sit in the box for so long. Chris at Customer Support was very professional, friendly and helpful. Try back at the number above and ask for Chris.

That is the number I called where no one picks up the phone. I doubt Joe Elward is even a real customer.

I assure you I'm a real customer.Maybe I just got lucky, or maybe since i work in CS as well, I understand that attitude is everything. I was polite and that politeness was returned to me by Chris. I had to order a new bridge because my unit is so old, but it will be up and running on wunderground in about 2 weeks, broadcasting  from Muskogee, Ok. You can check it out if you don't believe me.

While I was on hold a recording offered to have me leave a call back number several times. I've never had much luck with that, so I just stuck it out and waited for a rep.

They do have an Email address now I have not used it   Email AcuRite Support: support@chaney-inst.com

I received my new internet bridge and after a few minutes it was added as a device and fixed my problem. Thanks again to Chris at tech support,  and I'll  have my station mounted and broadcasting to Wunderground in a few days. I'll post the ID for anyone that still thinks I'm not a real customer. I'm sorry if others are having issues, but they took care of me very quickly and fairly.
