syncing older displays to newer 5-in-1 station

I have a model 06014M Pro 5-in-1 Weather Station with HD Display, and two older displays. Had a thread on this community a while back, I cannot get the older displays to pick up the newer station, even though everything is set on "A" in the ABC choice. Also, does the display for the newer station have a USB output where I can use the software that the older displays used? Though if I can get the older displays working, they can connect to the software, so that would work. Thank you.

Have you tried flipping the channel setting on the old displays from A to B or C and then back to A again?

That usually puts the displays back to "scanning" mode where they will search and try to re-acquire the signal from the 5n1 sensor.

An alternative would be to just set everything to another channel.

Worst case, you could do a hard reset on the display, but then you'll lose any history and set your barometer back to "learning" mode, so that would be a last resort.

The HD displays do not support a local USB connection.  Some of them may have what looks to be a USB port, perhaps hidden behind a small panel, but it is for factory-use only.

I have tried all these things, and have reset the displays. Then set station and display to "B" instead but still it will not read data. What could I be doing wrong?
would it be easier to speak to a representative on the phone? I know they are busy but could devote the day today to waiting for a call-back. Thank you.
