Smarthub End of Life announcement. Not a happy customer.

Smart hub End of Service. Because of the email to stop supporting my Smart Hub I made the decision to purchase a new Access product using the discount code. My Smart Hub was less than a year old and I was not happy about the whole situation. I picked up my new Access at the post office yesterday. They charged me $34 customs / duty on a $40 item that cost $33 to ship. This is highway robbery. The post office said it was because whoever filled out the customs form said the value was $161. I hooked up my new Access yesterday and everything seemed to go fine until I tried to add my last three temperature sensors which I purchased a few months ago. I had 10 sensors on my Smart Hub and now three of my new sensors are of no use to me. I thought this was an upgrade? I am not happy with what has transpired. However I love my Acurite equipment but I am disappointed how all of this has rolled out. My confidence in this company is not good at the moment. Not sure how Acurite will turn this around but the outcome does not look good. Unhappy Acurite customer.

Do not bother with the upgrade.......you get nothing more that you had before it except a battery backup.  I was also surprised with the end of life after owning the 5-1 for just over 2 months.    So frustrating and disappointing.   To many options that do not work with each other.
