smartHUB doen's see High Definition Multi-Sensor Weather Station

Hi,

My smartHUB doesn't see my High Definition Multi-Sensor Weather Station. Why is this? In an other location, smartHUB sees it without problem.

Both are separeted by 1m, so this shouldn't be a problem! Is is the channel A-B-C important?

Best regards
Daniel

Hello Daniel,

Are you referring to your display? The smartHUB doesn't communicate with the display as they are receivers only. If you want to monitor the indoor information you would need a sensor designated indoors for the smartHUB to detect the indoor temperature and humidity readings.  Please let us know if there is anything further we can assist you with.

Hi Jennifer,

Yes, I know the smartHUB doesn't communicate with the display, but the display sends it's sensor values that the hub must be able to read, no??? It's that that isn't working, the smartHUB doesn't receive data from the display. And this works at home. When I switch all sensors off, there is still a sensor around, the display...

Daniel,

SmartHUB's don't care about A-B-C switches. They will show data on MyAcuRite from any compatible sensor without regard to the switch setting on the sensor.

The barometric data shown on MyAcuRite originates from within the smartHUB. It has a small pressure sensor inside.

Displays have no transmit capability at all. If you see another sensor on MyAcuRite after switching all your sensors off, it may be that your hub is picking up a neighbor's sensor.
