The current smart hub will be discontinued in August. Will the owners have any discounts or advantages when purchasing Access?

The end date is now February 28th, 2019.

The $90 discount offer ended March 31st, 2018.

It is unknown if another discount will be offered in the future.

Discount ended about 2 months ago. If you received an email from AcuRite with a discount coupon code it may still be good. Dig back through your old emails if you have them. If not, you may be out of luck.
One thing, never hurts, send them an email and ask if you can get a discount, you may get lucky.

It looks like this offer on amazon would be cheaper to purchase than buying the new hub on it's own.  Personally I am looking for another system as I'm not happy about acurite not letting me know the bridge would be useless in a few months after suggesting I order a new 5 in 1 because the temperature sensor stopped working.  I specifically asked if the bridge I own now would be compatible, but they failed to mention only for a few months and then I would need the new access.

Wow, am I out if the loop.
I never received an email. I just happened to stumble upon this disturbing EOL issue.

I'm extremely disappointed by this decision. It actually makes my system totally unusable unless I upgrade.

I have a system with a 5-1 and four temp/humidity sensors.
I have no "display".
I use MyAcurite as my display.

So, even though I don't care if my data goes to Acurite or WU or anything, I won't be able to use the system I bought.
I don't need any of the features of the Access. I just need to get my data to my iPad.

And I never received any email or letter, so I guess I have to pay full price.

Funny. Two years ago, I helped beta test MyAcurite and the updated smart hubs. Now my hubs are going to be bricks. And no one told me...
