New smart hub will not maintain a good connection with sensor (5 in 1 weather station). If the hub is not moved why would the signal start off as good then within an hour no longer be detectable?

Because radio conditions can vary. Interference sources may come and go.

Hello Kathy,

The smartHUB measures true signal on it. You need at least 1 bar to transmit online. You can try to improve the signal by moving the smartHUB out as far as you can from the router without disconnecting the Ethernet cable. You can also rotate the smartHUB 90 degrees. Try to reduce local interference from other electronic devices. It's important to install AcuRite wireless products at least 3 feet (.9 m) away from electronics that may interfere with the wireless communication, such as: TVs, Microwaves, Computers, Laptops, Fluorescent lights, Refrigerators, Cordless phones, USB-powered devices like webcams & keyboards. You may also try relocating the smartHUB and/or sensor to help improve your wireless signal. If you have any further questions please let us know. Thank you.
