Smart Hub/5 in 1

My smarrthub has worked for  2 years and I have made no changes to my network. The hub now goes offline. I have reset my router and smarthub. Cycled the router on first, plugged the smarthub back into router and then powered up the smarthub. It will return me back on line for about 24 hours and then drops off line again. This has happened 3 or 4 times. Any suggestions.

Hello Richard,

What are the blue lights doing on the smartHUB when you are offline? What are the green and amber lights doing in the back of the smartHUB? What is the name brand of the router you are using? You have the smartHUB plugged directly into the back of the router, or are you using a port or a switch?

The blue light on the side and front  is glowing.  The green light on the back is on and the amber light is flashing.  We have a Belkin N600+ Router.  The smarthub is plugged directly into the router.  This combination has worked since 2015.  Our troubles started about a month ago.

We are in Arizona for the winter and use this to monitor the temperature inside our house so it is rather vital.  Our daughter is still at home and can do whatever needs to be done to get this working.  If we power the units down and then restart the router and then plug in the smarthub and then power up the smarthub it will return on line for 24 to 48 hours and then it drops off line again.  It has stopped reporting to Weather Underground all together.  We haven't had success with that for about a month.

Hello Richard,
When you say "the blue light on the side and front is glowing" are the blue lights located on both sides of the HUB on solid when the HUB is going offline? Knowing exactly what the blue lights are doing will help us provide you with the correct troubleshooting steps. Thank you.

Hello Richard,
Please try a different Ethernet cable and/or port in the router. If this does not correct the issue, the smartHUB will need to be replaced.  We recently launched the new AcuRite Access which has replaced the smartHUB. For your convenience, I have provided a link below to the Access. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you.

We have tried that already. A new Acurite Access is $129. I think I will pass. Ambient Weather has a whole new system for $159 and reviews I have read say Ambient's system is more reliable than your s.
