OK, Battery status on the Acurite page is BOGUS.
I went outside and the DVM said 2.84. Replaced batteries (I have the remote battery module, so it was easy to replace 1 pair at a time. Acurite did do this right!)We are back to level 4
Funny, the display showed 5 in 1 things normally, 4 bars

Hey Steve,

If you haven't tossed the old batteries yet, put them back into your remote holder for a while and see if the
zero signal condition returns.

Sometimes I see zero signal on one or more of my sensors, but it is a brief and self-correcting condition. I think it may be due to sensors occasionally "stepping on" one another. Their transmissions sometimes overlap because of their different periods.

They had hours before I thought to drag out the DVM.    3.1 is theoretical new. 2.85 is 91%80% is traditionally EOL  My gripe is Battery Level is reported as NORMAL, when the detected signal is not sufficient for good data.  If it had said WEAK or LOW, I would just have grabbed 4 bats and changed them. This way, I WASTED time and effort(and I feel sorry for those without a DVM because it takes a lot of running about. TRY something...wait for results. TRY something else.... )
