More than 6 months ago, in a firmware update I stopped working my smarthub. I wrote asking for a reset but they never did, what should I do to have it replaced?

Hello Martin,

What is the model number of your smartHUB? What are the lights doing on the smartHUB?  The lights should function as follows: The left blue light is a network status light. It should flash for 1 second each time a reading is sent otherwise it will be steady. The right hand light should be solid steady.  The next step is to register the device on My AcuRite. Create your account on My AcuRite and then do the following steps.

1. Go to settings and click devices.

2. Enter your device ID and zip code.

3. Enter your address information where the smartHUB is located.

4. Select if you want the station pressure which is a raw pressure you can calibrate, or the adjusted pressure which is a calibrated pressure based off your altitude.

5. Click Save.

6. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and add your sensors.

**Note it make take a little bit of time before your sensor information comes up.

If this doesn't correct the problem, please power down your smartHUB and router for about 2 minutes. Unplug the Ethernet cord from the router.  After two minutes power up the router. Plug the Ethernet cord into the router, and power up the smartHUB. Give it a minute or two, and you should start transmitting online.  Please let us know if there is anything further we can assist you with. Thank you.

Jennifer, my smarthub It does not work since that famous update of firmware that left several damaged ones. I've been complaining for a year now and I have no answer.

Hello Martin,

Have you tried the troubleshooting steps above? When you say it's not working are you getting any lights on the smartHUB? Thank you.

Only a blue light on one of its sides, which remains permanently fixed.

I left it a time unplugged (I already did this previously) and plug it back in. Now it does not catch any light.

Hello Martin,

Are you getting the amber light in the back and the green solid light in the back? The blue lights should be steady except the left light will flash for about 1 second each time a reading is sent to it. Have you tried to register the device on My AcuRite? Do you get any error messages when you try to register it?  The blue lights can be toggled on and off by pressing the register/activate button for 10 seconds. If the blue lights are off please press the button for 10 seconds and once you release it the lights should come back on. Thank you.
