resetting alerts on phone?

I set several alerts on the new MyAcurite Dashboard and started to get High Heat Index warnings about every 30 mins (3 messages) and then a 4th 1.5 hours later.  

I tried to acknowledge/delete the alerts from my phone app, but did not see any way to delete them.  Can these alerts be deleted on phone (not change/add/delete an alert criteria) or only on the PC/Dashboard webpage?

I am also unsure why I continued to get them when the temperature was in the low 80s and even 70s for the last alert.  I can see receiving alerts when the condition exists until I delete the alert and the system waits 24 hours before it can give another warning.  Is this actually 24 hours or is this until the next day (let's say midnight to re-enable this specific alert)?  Why do I ask?  I just reset these on my PC around 11:45pm.  So I will not see another high heat index alert until 11:45 pm the next night?  This would make no sense....
