I replaced my batteries in my 1500 while it was plugged into 110 power still and lost all history. Very bummed! And my back light won't stay on. These arent issues that happened at the same time. I loved my weather station and ended up purchasing many more and had many friends purchase them because I loved it so much now I'm pretty bummed with it

Krista I feel for your loss of history but by reading your post I think I know what is wrong. You say your back light wont stay on, well that will only stay on if the AC adapter is connected and working. Three  things to check first that it is plugged  into the display all the way, Two that the adapter is plugged into a working outlet, and lastly that the adapter is putting out power.

Thanks the adapter is plugged into the wall and into the splay it completely makes sense what you're saying though obviously the AC adapter is not working correctly and that's why when I change my batteries everything went gunnysack

Hello Krista,

We are sorry to hear the adapter went bad. There is a 1 year warranty on the product. If you have had the product for less than 1 year, we would be happy to get you a replacement adapter out. We can verify warranty by getting the 4 digit code located in the battery compartment of the display. You will need to remove the batteries to get this number. It typically starts with QC. If you have had the product more than 1 year, you can purchase a replacement adapter as well. https://www.acurite.com/power-adapter-5n1adptr.html Thank you. Have a good day!
