Reaching customer support

I am having a problem with my display on my acurite system. I waited over FOUR AND A HALF HOURS on hold to reach customer support. I number 32 on cue when I called. By five o'clock I was finally number four. I thought they may close, but I held on and forty-five minutes later I was number one and ready to talk to someone. Then a recording comes on saying "we are having system problems and to try another day"! I could not be madder and more disappointed with Acurite. There is no excuse for this kind of treatment to customers.
