rainfall rate alert rules in myacurite.com

When I try to add a rainfall rate in myacurite.com  that is less than 1 inch.  example:  .10, .25.,.50, 0.10, 0.25, or 0.50 the alert rules saves it as 0.

Could you please allow fractions of an inch in myacurite.com rainfall alerts.

I live in a desert area and we almost never get more than an inch of rain but I would like to be alerted if a rainfall rate reaches a particular fraction of an inch.

thanks,

I have the same problem. The new system is basically useless, because rain alerts are one of the most critical alerts! I wish I wouldn't have switched!

Please add the ability to have an alert for less than an inch of rain.  I'd say the majority of the United States typically gets less than an inch of rain at a time, AND I used this alert to remind me to turn off my sprinklers.  PLEASE add this back, as it worked perfectly on the old dashboard.

If this is a squeaky wheel gets the oil situation, count me as unhappy with this change. An inch is a lot of rain, alert settings need to be in tenths at least.

I am unable to create any kind of rainfall alert.  Every number that is entered comes up invalid and will not save.  Any fix for this?

I am having the same problem as Eric. Can not create either a rain or rain rate alert. No input number, with or without a decimal is valid.

Hey man - I never got a response back, but did figure out it's a browser issue. Can't remember which one I used, but it was either Chrome or Firefox that worked for me.

Hello VicinOmak,

What browser are you currently using? Are you able to try a different browser to see if it allows you to set the alert?

I submitted the problem comment after the alert failed to generate using FireFox. Another comment led me to try Chrome. Alert for rainfall rate successfully generated with Chrome. So I'll remember to use Chrome until site is updated to work successfully with FireFox.
