Rain gauge communication with smart hub.

My Smarthub was offline during some rain this week. The gauge has recorded the rain each day but I don’t see it on MyAcuRite. The Smarthub is back online so is this thing going to sync up at some point?

Hello Kip Gary,

We see your rain gauge is currently updating on my AcuRite.  If the smartHUB was offline when you received rain, the sensor does not store that information to send to my AcuRite.  The rain will not be sent if the HUB or sensor is offline.  Please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you.

Thanks for getting back to me. That is unfortunate and surprising since the rain gauge has the daily history recorded. So, now I have on MyAcuRite a bad reading of three inches when I made the mistake of testing the gauge with it connected to smarthub and no record of the actual rain. I think your software on this could use some work!
