I am trying to find a low water sensor for and animal water tank as well as our house water tank. i.e. it lets my know when it is running low so i can refill it... The "Outdoor Monitor with Water Detector Model: 00275WD " says on the page that it "tracks the... absence of liquids" and further states you can use it to "Tracking... low water level in... tanks". Can it indeed do this? If so how does a water detector do this? Do you think i could use this for my needs? I already have a large acurite setup to monitor house and chicken coop temperatures. This, if it would work for me, would be a great low cost addition to my setup.
