Outage overnight?

I received an email that my Acurite Access was not communicating overnight.  It looks like it started communicating again but I have about a 5 hour gap in data.  I did not experience an internet or power outage.  I also expected the Access to queue up readings and send them to the cloud once available.  Was there a cloud outage overnight?  Why did my access not queue and upload readings?

My Access just dropped signal in the rain again. Shows weak signal. Have two sensors that go from excellent to poor in the rain. Yet my hub still receiving strong. Something strange abut the access and rain. It just stopped reporting rain for about an hour now. Hub still accumulating rain. Stopped at 10:30 AM CT.

Access just came back up with now excellent signal on both sensors. BUT it reset rain accumulation to zero just like before. Access is useless in rain.
