Not a great product - eats batteries

We bought, via Amazon, your model 00822A2 thermometer. After one week, the batteries needed replacing and that pattern continued. In addition, the unit continually lost communication with the remote device, even from 20 feet away. After less than one year, we went ahead and bought another unit of a different brand in hopes of not going broke on batteries.

The sensor batteries typically last up to two years.  If your sensor is still draining batteries, please contact AcuRite Customer Support regarding possible warranty coverage at 877-221-1252.  Have a great day!
