New Model 02064C Will Not Calibrate

Recently purchased 5 in 1 Acurite Color Weather Display that will not allow Barometric Pressure calibration on indoor display.  The barometric pressure (BP) is off low nearly 2 points (28.88 vs 30.12).   Tried the "Press and Hold the + and * and - Simultaneously", but it won't go past the Weather Select screen item to allow any BP change.  The display always says rain is forecast  because of the low BP.  Tried calling problem in, but after 1 hour wait I hung up.  Will return to Amazon if not resolved.

Have you gone though the full 33 day learning mode?  If you are reading inaccurate barometric pressure we do recommend to restart your 14-33 day learning mode. To restart the learning mode, please follow the steps below. This should also correct any button issues you may be having. Please wait the full 33 days before trying to calibrate again. Thank you.

The following instructions should help resolve any issues you are having with your display.


Please verify that you are using a name brand (Rayovac or Energizer) standard alkaline batteries in the display unit. We do not recommend using anything that is heavy duty, rechargeable, store brand or Lithium inside of the display.

- Remove all power, AC adapter and batteries from the display unit.
- Press and hold down the pin hole reset button, located in the battery compartment, for 20 seconds.
- Plug back into AC power and insert recommended batteries.
- Press and hold down the pin hole reset button for an additional 20 seconds.
- Verify that the unit has powered on and once connection has been made, attempt to set time and date.
