Set up the Access Hub last night, setup was fine. (Replaced old hub)

Started reporting right away.

Now the connection has been intermittent all day.

Same location as the old hub

Same connection as old hub

Ready to go back to the old hub

I also thought this new hub was supposed to back fill data when it reconnected?

it does not...

Please advise

Thanks

Not sure what to make of this. It sounds like some sort of interference from an unknown source. I have the same problem, however I'm having issues with my display as it looses its connection with the weather station. Very frustrating! Try looking for any new device that can have the capabilities of interference like a telephone, neighbors wifi etc.... Good Luck!

Hello Frank,
Are you monitoring your station online or are you dropping connection to the display alone? What is the model number of your unit? If you are losing connection on the display alone, please verify you are using the battery recommendations and try the troubleshooting steps listed below. If this does not correct the issue, please let us know. Thank you.

Batteries:

•Verify you are using fresh alkaline batteries or lithium batteries (when temperature is below -4°F/-20°C) in sensor.

•Quality brand batteries are recommended, including Duracell, Rayovac, Energizer, or Kirkland.

•Verify batteries are fresh. The battery expiration date should be at least 6 years out. Batteries can lose 3% power or more every year in storage.

•Heavy duty, extra strength or generic / store brand batteries are not recommended for use with AcuRite products because they may cause performance irregularities due to the way these types of batteries disperse power. Each battery should not exceed 1.6 volts.

•Rechargeable batteries are not recommended for use with AcuRite products because they may cause performance irregularities due to the voltage instability of these types of batteries.

•Mixing different battery types (brands, old/new, etc.) is not recommended.

Hard reset:

- Bring both units side by side and remove all batteries, unplug display if it has an ac adapter

- Change the ABC Switch to a different setting and ensure that both are on the same setting. example - If on A, move both to C

- Place batteries into the outdoor sensor first

- Place batteries into display

- Allow units to sit side by side until they connect.

Hello Mathew,
The Access will backfill information when the unit is offline if you are using the battery back up.  Have you experienced any of these issues since resetting the Access? Thank you.
