New display - not registering rainfall. Other two diplays in the hosue work fine.

I got the 5 in 1 weather station and 2 displays last year.  They all work fine.  Got a third display last month, and all but the rainfall display works.  It is showing no rain for August, while the other two displays in the house show 0.57 inches.  Are the new displays not completely compatible with last year's weather station?

Seeing a LOT of complaints on here about this.  Have a feeling they have a lot of bad displays out there.

Hello Vic,

Since you purchased the new display have you had rainfall? The rain will register from the time that the display was set up. When was the last time there was rain, and when was the display purchased and set up? What is the model number of your display that is not registering rain?

Jennifer - yes, it has rained since I set up the new display, and the other displays in the house did show the rainfall.  It's model 06016.  The new one is actually the physically closest to the outdoor unit of the three.  The outdoor temp and humidity readings are the same on all three displays.

Hello Vic,

When you reset all 3 units, and poured the water in the sensor. Did all 3 displays have the outdoor information displaying at that time. If for some reason 2 of the displays were connected, and the other one was not it would not register the rainfall on that 3rd display.  I know we have suggested these steps before, however I would like you to press the reset button in the back of the displays for 10 seconds and it should clear all the readings.  Once all the readings are cleared it will search for the sensor again. Wait to make sure all 3 sensors have the outdoor information displayed, and then try pouring the water through mimicking a rainfall to see if it is displays If it doesn't display please let us know, and we will initiate a warranty claim on the display.

after putting the batteries back in they all re-connected with the sensor unit.  I ran some water through the sensor, and the two older ones registered rainfall but the new one did not.  Also it's strange that the new one had a different temperature readout.

Jennifer - did you start a warranty claim on the receiver?  I'd be glad to send you the one that's not working so you can diagnose it if you send me one that does work.

Thanks!  Ryman is a sweet puppy.

There's no rain in the forecast until late next week, so it'll be a little while before I know if this works.
