I have 9 sensors and just bought another one. Now you change the hub and you don't even provide the same level of service with the new "Better" unit. How can it be better if it does not do at least what the old unit would do. I bought the promotional Access unit but do not want to pay again just to get what I had. What's next monthly changes, replacing all my sensor at my cost, or is the Access Hub actually routing all my network traffic ? Please let me know what your company is doing to support the functions I currently have without spending even more money. Also, tell me why this New hub is a better unit and not just marketing crap. Is it really about stuffing the companies coffers?.

Hello Frank,
I have emailed you at the email address associated with your community forum account. Please check your inbox.  The AcuRite Access is an upgrade device that replaces the HUB. Some features for The Access follow.  We do apologize for any inconvenience experienced.
Has a backup battery feature that will allow you to store up to 12 hours of data if you lose network or power to the unit. My AcuRite will also update the missed readings once internet is restored.
Compatibility with 1GB switches and the Apple routers where the HUB was not.
Will receive over the air updates for firmware. The Access checks in every night at midnight to see if there is a new version and downloads
Improved Antennae which allows for better reception
Offers Amazon Alexa integration. The link below will provide more information regarding Alexa use.
