New Access upgrade to my Acurite weather station fail to report to Weather Underground

I have made two attempts to get Weather Underground to recognize my newly upgraded "Access"  device for my existing Acurite weather station.  I have been successfully using the earlier version with WU for years. I called Acurite phone support and was transferred to technical support but was immediately dismissed.  My case # is 00613987.  I am hoping someone can get me the information I need.

If you know the IP number assigned to the Access, open a web browser to that IP number.

You should get a screen with some diagnostic information.  Check to see if your wunderground station ID and station key (password) is there and entered properly.

If that information is not there, then the problem is likely in the setup side of myAcurite, or you haven't waited long enough for the information to be pushed down to your Access (give it about 15 or 20 minutes).

If that information is there, and correct, then the problem is more likely with wunderground itself.

Thanks for the info.  I have been waiting weeks for the info to show  up in WU.  I connected to the router using a browser and the IP address and poked around and do not find a list of the Ip addressed assigned to my connected devices.  I will contact my access provider for some help.

 Thx!

Is your router the DHCP server (most are)?  What brand router? Someone here will tell you where to look.

An alternative way to find the IP number is to run a scanner like http://www.advanced-ip-scanner.com

Look for the IP number that has the same MAC as your Access.

Thanks to George and the suggestion to Advanced-IP-Scanner, I have the ip address of the Access device and it matches the ID physically on the device. Once once I entered the IP address for the device in my browser, It displayed the Acurite Access with the correct id but the box for the Wunderground ID and password were blank.  I entered the information and saved and it reset.  It now displays the correct information.    That was 2 hours ago and so far it is not reporting to WU.  I will wait 24 hours and see if time will make the difference. I really appreciate all your help with this.

SUCCESS!!   I found the problem was in the Myacurite  app. Since I was upgrading from a previous device, it used the name of my old device as the connection.  I was unsuccessful editing it and just had to delete all the connections and create a new one with the new "Access" connection.  I am now sharing my Vermont weather data with WU.  Kudos to all who who helped!

How did you “delete” all the old connections in the app? I have this exact same issue.

When you go to the weather Underground site look for your ( My Profile) on the top right side.

Click on that and it will give you a drop down menu.

Click on the one listed as) My Weather Stations).

On that page it will show what you have for a weather station in a rectangle box.

In that box  on the right corner is a small star shaped  blue icon.

Click on that ICON and it will allow you to edit or delete that station you have.

Then ad what ever new one you want.

Hope this helps.

I have almost the same issue and this feed has helped. However I'm trying to input the information and it is asking for Wunderground Device: and I'm not sure what I should enter here. I have the device mac and ipand ID. What would my  Wunderground Device: be?

You should not be entering the wunderground device ID.  It's the same as the sensor ID, but myAcurite should be doing that for you.

You aren't trying to input data directly to the device through the splash page, are you?

I can get to my Acurite Dashboard just fine and my station reports just fine.  I can not get my new Acurite Access to report to Weather underground. I changed out my hub for this new Access because they said the hub was end of life on support. ) CRAPPY WAY OF DOING THINGS )  I gave the Aceess the station I D and password. What else is there to do?

I installed Access on Saturday (today is Monday).  No data is being sent to WU.  I even went into MyAcurite and deleted the devices and reinstalled.  Nothing.  Any ideas?
