New Access not sharing to WU

I get that WU had some problems, but finally my old smart hub reconnected and all was well. Now I received my new Access, went to MyAcurite, removed the SmartHub. installed the Access, went to MyAcurite, set up sharing, but it's not doing it. Access is getting nice strong signals from all my sensors, but it just won't connect to WU. Yes, I entered my WU password. Many times. Help.

How long have you waited?  It takes a bit of time for the Access it get updated.  30 minutes might not be unusual.

Also, did you use the station key or your wunderground password?  You should use the station key.

Not the station ID, the station key.  It's a wunderground-generated password for your station ID.

8 digit alphanumeric?

I also have my Owner ID WU_463xxxx with a long password (I think generated by my Mac)

Yes.  Pull up your list of stations and it will be clearly labeled.

Also, avoid using "cut-and-paste" as it will sometimes add an invisible character.

Here's what's happening. WU site on my Mac is showing my station with recent updates. The WU map does not have a little circle icon for my station though, but there's a big circle around my location. The iOS app does not show new data, nor does WunderStation.  

BTW AcuRite tech support called me back, but wasn't much help. They also saw recent data and no icon.  Go look for yourself. KNJBERKE12.

It looks fine to me.  Your problem is with wunderground, not Acurite.

Everything is now working again. WU fixed it.  Trouble just coincidental with my installation of the new Access.
