Installed new Access to replace smartHub. Connected without a problem. All sensors and MyAcuRite work fine. But once or twice a day the lite in front will blink red and the green Ethernet light in back wil go dark. At this time my network is fine and all other devices connected to my modem have internet access. If I cycle the power on the Access it immediately reconnects and works fine. Then a random few hours later will do it again. I have tried a new network cable and a new port. Same issue. This same setup worked fine for 3 years with the old smartHub. Seems like many people on this forum are having similar issues that Acurite has yet to explain or resolve. I use this set up to remote monitor a seasonal cabin. I can’t be around to cycle the power twice a day, so this doesn’t work for me. If I can’t get it to work for 48 straight hours I will re-install the smartHub. Meanwhile I hope Acurite will come up with a firmware fix or something for this issue. I really don’t understand why they tried to fix something that wasn’t broke. The old smartHub wasn’t very pretty but at least it was dependable.
