New Access device can not be added by MyAcurite account

received my new Access unit and when i try to add it to MyAcurite account i get a message that says it is registered to another account?  Have tried all week (daily) to contact the support team and wait times are 3 to 4 hours, have left call back numbers and no reply!

Check that you have the correct MAC address entered into MyAcuRite.


The label on the bottom of Access might be a bit hard to read. An alternative is to get into your router page, and spot Access there, noting its MAC address.


Recently another user posted here, similar issue. By bringing up a router page, or in his case, we went into Access' splash page, we found he had been keying in a zero where a D should be.
