I have received the new smartHUB due to a failed firmware update. After getting this all setup and using it, the myaculink.com website is a poor design and a huge waste of space. I use a 12" tablet on the wall that I display the data on. The "temp" numbers are way too small, there is no way to re-order the sensors (or removing the "pressure" to get rid of that line) and having the "hourly" right after the small temperature numbers is a waste of space. This space can be used to put another sensors there. The old system I was able to view the 12" tablet I have mounted on the wall from 10 feet away. This "smartHUB" (09150M) I have to be 2 feet away (and that's after "zooming in - of which doing this, I'm unable to view all sensors). Also, I can not find a way to turn off the lights on "hub" like we were able to do on the older firmware.

1. Make the TEMPERATURE numbers LARGER
2. Allow re-ordering of the sensors (like the old system)
3. Allow sensors to been seen on screen (no scrolling - like the old system)
4. Turn off the lights
5. Get rid of that hourly graph (or an option to do so for those that like it) so that another sensor can be put there to zoom in so that all sensors are readable

Unfortunately, I have to use the website directly to view my sensors as you do not make an app for Windows 10 (PC, PHONE, TABLET, ETC).

I prefer to go back to the old system (while dated looking; it was easier to read) and was able to re-order them.

The old system no longer exists, so going back isn't an option.

You can still toggle off the lights the same way you did on the old firmware (press the toggle button on the internal web page).  However, it will disrupt your wunderground communications and so you'll need to reset them in myAcurite.  Once myAcurite pushes a fresh copy of your wunderground credentials,  wunderground updates should start up again.

George,
I see no toggle button with this new firmware. Can you show me where it is?

(Admin removed splashpage as it contains personal information)

That's the newer boot firmware.  It doesn't have the "toggle" button.  (the boot firmware doesn't get field-updated, so others may have the old red/white screen with the toggle button)

However, you can still toggle off the lights using the physical button on the bottom of the SmartHUB.

I'm not sure of the timing, but I think you need to hold it for 15 seconds or so after a power-cycle.  This may stop your wunderground uploads as I mentioned before, which you may have to fix having myAcurite push a new copy of your wunderground credentials down to the SmartHUB.

Hello Erik,

We appreciate all feedback, and will work on making improvements on the product in the future. You can toggle the lights on and off by pressing the register/activate button or 10 seconds. George is correct, you can not go back to the old system as it has retired.  Have a good day!
