MyAcurite data Export

Hi,

I would like to inquire about the using the SmartHUB with the 5-in-1 sensor (https://www.acurite.com/weather-environment-system-900wes.html)

I have a few questions:

Can I have more than one PWS (various locations) connected to one MyAcurite account? Would I only need a SmartHUB connected to each PWS (within range and an internet connection).

Can I export the readings from each PWS through the MyAcurite website (with the SmartHUB) and what is the export file format? (Excel or CSV)

Can I schedule exports of the data using MyAcurite and the SmartHUB?

Thank you in advance.

Hello Dominic,

The smartHUB would need to be in range of the sensors. The range is 330 feet. The smartHUB does need to be plugged directly into a router.  You can export the file it is a CSV format. It would be through My AcuRite. With the smartHUB you are not able to schedule exports. Please let us know if we can further assist you.  Thank you. Have a good day!

I recently bought a 5-in-1 but also have a few thermo/hygro units connected to MyAcuRite using a smartHub. I love that I can collect and save all the 5-in-1 data from PC Connect (with scheduled exports) but it bothers me that I have to manually export the data for my thermo/hygro sensors at least once a month through MyAcuRite.

Are there any plans (please!) to allow for scheduled exports of sensor data from MyAcuRite (smartHub)?

I can download the data from 5 in 1 directly via my acurite account site. My 5 in 1 is connected wirelessly to my smart hub which is connected by wire to router. Why is my digital display ticker says I need to connect display to computer to download data. I can download data directly via my acurite site without having to physically connect the display to my computer and using acurite pc connect...I'm confused!

Hello Jorge,

It sounds like you have a PC Connect display. There are 2 ways to transmit to My AcuRite. One is via PC Connect the other in is via the smartHUB. If you are downloading the CSV file via My AcuRite you do not need to do it via PC Connect. Some users have just a PC Connect, and download the data from the display that way. The display will store 2 weeks worth of data to download to your computer. The data will update in 12 minute intervals via PC Connect. The data updates in 5 minute intervals via My AcuRite, and comes from the sensors on My AcuRite.

Jorge I'm going to guess that your display is a PC connect unit that you only use as a display because you have the smarthub getting your info on line. Not knowing the model of your display I cant say but if you check the manual you may find a setting to get that message off your ticker. A PC connect display works like the smarthub but it needs to be connected to a computer and running 24/7

Yes you have a PC connect display that you are not using the PC connect feature that's fine because you have a smarthub. If you check the owners manual  you will find that somewhere in the settings you will see "set USB mode"  by selecting one of those modes you should be able to clear that message from you ticker, not sure which number  it is I think mode 3 is for using PC connect. or you could just ignore the message and the display will work just fine.
