I have followed the step by step guide to set up my smartHub and yet it is not reading the 5-in-1 outdoor weather station, my display unit, indoor and outdoor humidity sensors are all synced and relaying info yet the smarthub is not picking up any readings at all.

'Device must be connected and reporting data to claim it. Please make sure the device is connected to your router and the status lights are blinking'

My sensor light is solid blue and the network light is only staying blue for about 40 secs then it goes off for about 50secs.
Please I require assistance asap.

Hello Terata,

We are unable to locate your account with the email we have on file. What is the model number of your smartHUB? Do you have the smartHUB directly plugged into the router or is it plugged into a hub or a switch? Please power cycle your smartHUB and router. To do this, you will unplug the AC adapter and the Ethernet cable for the smartHUB. After this you can unplug your router. Please leave them unplugged for about 5 minutes. When you plug them back in plug the router in first and let it completely boot up. Then you will plug the smartHUB back in. Ethernet first and then the AC adapter. Please let us know if you are still not able to register your SmartHUB on My AcuRite. Thank you.

i have done power cycle already, i have placed smartHub 3 feet away from router and i have not been able to collect one reading from smartHub so it could at least go online. At the back the green light is solid and the amber light is flashing as it should. My sensor status light is solid blue, and network status light continues to flash in 45 second intervals. My account is kemarweekes@gmail.com, but this has not connected online even once and its been 2 more than to weeks now.

Hello Terata,

Is this for the smartHUB labeled Chapel Plantation or Valley plantation or neither? Is this a separate smartHUB all together? The network status light flashing on and off for about 45 seconds lets us know that the smartHUB does not have a network/internet connection.  Do you have it plugged directly into the router or are you using a port or switch?  On the router where the Ethernet plugs in, is the port lit up there? You want to pull the smartHUB out as far from the router as possible without disconnecting the Ethernet cable. How long have you had the smartHUB for? Was it ever online and transmitting? What is the model number of the smartHUB?   We understand that you have power cycled before, but please try the power cycle of the smartHUB and router below:

The lights should function as follows: The left blue light is a network status light. It should flash for 1 second each time a reading is sent otherwise it will be steady. The right light should be solid steady. There should be an amber light in the back that is flashing where the Ethernet is plugged in. The green light should be solid. Please power down the smartHUB and router for 2 minutes. Unplug the Ethernet cord from the back of the router. After the 2 minutes power up the router. Wait for it to come back online. Once online go ahead, and plug in the Ethernet cord, and power up the smartHUB. Give it a couple of minutes and it should start transmitting online.
