My pool hawk sensor is stuck showing HH

I replaced the batteries on my sensor and base unit.  Both are on the same wireless channel.  The pool sensor is showing HH, and I can't get it to reset or clear.  How do I fix this?

This is a piece of junk. Battery's constantly die, the unit leaks, display fogs up now it says HH. I have had this under a year but don't have the recept from Home Depot.

Hello,

We are sorry to hear your unit is no longer functioning. Please follow the troubleshooting steps we have provided below.Thank you.

  Perform a hard reset:
  1. Bring both the sensor and display unit indoors and position them side by side.
  2. Remove all batteries from the sensor.
  3. Remove all power from the display unit.
  4. Wait 1 minute to ensure that any remaining battery power has discharged from both units.
  5. Inside each battery compartment you'll find an A-B-C switch, be sure these match each other.  You may also want to try changing to a different setting.
  6. Reinstall batteries in outdoor sensor first.
  7. Reinstall batteries in display last.
  8. Let units sit within a couple feet of each other for 5 minutes to ensure a wireless signal is received.
    *The display should receive the signal within several minutes. 
  9. After a connection has been established you may place the sensor outdoors. 
    *If the signal connection fails after the units are separated try a new location for the display unit, the sensor or both.

I am not an answering robot. I am a real person. It is difficult for us to determine why this has occurred. Should you receive the error we are able to help provide you with the recommended troubleshooting. Should this troubleshooting not correct your issue as Jennifer has mentioned we do have the 1 year warranty. If you are out of the 1 year warranty we would then recommend purchasing a new unit. What do you mean by informational? I have noticed it. You are giving information about how to be rich by buying the weather station. Did I read it wrong or what? Why do you change the subject? I said that I will buy a new one because if you have read my claim I bought it a year ago but I don't have the receipt.
